TDI began with a way of thinking.
Mario Arroyo Díaz Barriga was an architect who believed design was only as good as the discipline behind it. Integrity, creativity, and technical excellence were never aspirations — they were the minimum standard he brought to every drawing, every site, every decision.
He treated every problem as one worth solving properly, and every commitment as one worth keeping. Architecture, to him, was never just a discipline. It was a way of serving the people who would live inside the spaces he created.
These are not principles TDI once had. They are principles TDI still practices — the opening chapter of a philosophy that would later grow into ARVE Group.
For two generations, the Arroyo family has believed that architecture is more than construction. It is responsibility.
A philosophy, carried forward.
Mario Arroyo Ventura works from the same conviction — the one his father held on every jobsite. Not a title to inherit, but a standard to keep applying, project after project.
Over time, that standard was tested against new questions: what happens when these principles are applied beyond a single discipline? The answer became a multidisciplinary organization — one where architecture, construction, healthcare, design, and hospitality all operate under the same founding standard.
The principles were never meant to remain in a single company. They became the foundation for a broader vision: bringing the same standards of architecture, execution and craftsmanship into new industries.
One generation established the principles. The next expanded them into ARVE Group.
